Mona Plaza hotel in Belgrade - an honest review

We spent a long time comparing hotels in Belgrade based on price versus quality, and Mona Plaza turned out to be the best fit. We stayed four nights in a Standard Double Room.
The area is quiet - no traffic noise, no restaurants or bars nearby, and it was silent at night. It's a 15-minute walk to the tourist center.

The bed is wide and long. I'm 6'1" (1.85 m) tall, and I was very comfortable. The bedding is excellent.
We read through a ton of hotel reviews in Belgrade. We even came across reviews mentioning bedbugs - for places priced the same as Mona Plaza. In the end, we settled on this modern hotel. The design here is sleek and contemporary, and everything about the place feels genuinely high-end.
By the way, the air conditioning won't work if the windows are open - just keep that in mind.
The hotel has great soundproofing. We slept really well at Mona Plaza - nothing disturbed us. That's one of the most important factors when choosing a hotel.
This is a large hotel, and there were a lot of tour groups staying here. But there was always enough room at breakfast in the restaurant. Speaking of breakfast - it's excellent here. I've learned a rule by now: the bigger the hotel, the more varied the breakfast tends to be.
And this is the view from our room on the eighth floor. Somewhere in the distance, on the bank of the Danube, you can see Zemun - a really interesting historical district of Belgrade.
Would I recommend Mona Plaza? Absolutely. It combines the three most important factors: a comfortable night's sleep, a good breakfast, and a central location. Everything else is secondary.

By the way, at check-in they ask for a deposit - I think it was 3000 RSD - which you get back when you check out.
